Materials and Their Uses

The materials highlighted in gold are used for construction and maintenance, and are of strategic importance. You can use trade to resolve temporary shortages that prevent you from growing fast enough.

Not shown on the chart are intermediate materials between industrial stages, such as chemicals. Please make sure that the flow of these materials between the points of supply and demand is smooth and unclogged. You can use the production panel or reports for that.

To make your economy work well, it is important to build sufficient storage (T and H) in good locations, and make sure that you are not chronically short on materials for maintenance.
