Essential Materials: The materials marked with a star above are used in construction and maintenance. Make sure you have the letters and power necessary to manufacture most of them before your starting stock runs out. You can trade surpluses in one material for another that you are short of.

Raw Ores: Naturally occurring mine pits across the island provide the four raw materials on the left. Your robots will automatically go to the mine pits to fetch ores for your refining buildings (K,F,L,C,O). Remember that any building needs electricity (from S or G) to operate. You can build an exclusive mine (D or M) over an ore pit. This prevents your opponents from exploiting the mine, but may result in a production handicap for you.
